Taochun Sun is a Ph.D. candidate at Tsinghua University, supervised by Prof. Zhu Liu. His research interests stretch from the urban carbon data inventories to the intersection of the Geo-AI and carbon data applications. Recently he is conducting research concerning the urban inventories of the developing countries, and the global carbon emissions forecasts for various sectors. He has published research papers on Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications and other high-profile journals with the citation more than 1100, has presented the latest research results at the EGU Conference 2023 in the form of oral presentation, and has applied 5 software patents for a series of his research. He likes playing basketball, astronomy, and photography.
