A radiography service provider receives scans from veterinarians of different skill levels. Together with the scans, the veterinarian also needs to submit a form indicating which body areas are included in the scan. However, there tends to be a mismatch between the body areas indicated in the form and included in the scans. In this study, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system was developed to address this problem. The AI model is able to differentiate eight of the body areas on computed tomography (CT) scans of Jack Russel Terrier.
